Yes — RURU is a friendly AI companion that talks, listens, and tells stories. The AI is fully included in the price: there's no monthly subscription and nothing extra to pay. You buy RURU once and everything works, out of the box.
RURU is designed for children aged 3 and up. The size, materials, and interactions were made for small hands and big curiosity. For children under 3, we recommend adult supervision.
The battery lasts up to 14 days with normal use (45–60 min/day). It fully charges in about 90 minutes via USB-C. The fabric cable is included in the box. RURU automatically enters power-saving mode when not in use.
For advanced conversations and new stories, yes — RURU connects to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. The basic modes (sleep, sounds, pre-loaded stories) work offline too. Initial setup takes about 2 minutes.
You have 14 days to try it at home. If it doesn't fit your family, you send it back for free (we arrange the courier) and get a full refund within 5 business days. No questions, no paperwork.
The warranty covers any manufacturing and functional defects. If a problem comes up, you contact our team, we send a courier to your home, and you get either RURU repaired or a new one — at no cost. The fabric materials are covered separately for 12 months.
Yes. RURU recognizes the different voices in the family and adapts its responses for each child. In the parent app you can create separate profiles with different names, ages, and preferences.
